Après plus de 50 ans passés à raconter la course automobile, photographe, journaliste, rédacteur en chef et enfin éditeur, Yves Gallet a mis fin à ses activités dans la presse spécialisée en prenant sa retraite en 2018.
Il s’agit cependant d’une retraite très active, occupée à numériser ses importantes archives photographiques. La diffusion de celles-ci le conduisit à créer Neo Polychrono, société qui édite aussi des livres sur l’histoire du sport automobile.
Tout en collaborant à diverses parutions, en France comme à l’étranger, Yves Gallet s’occupe aussi de la promotion d’événements comme le Rallye de Portugal Historique.
Le site neopolychrono.fr diffuse également les archives photographiques de quelques autres photographes, notamment Jacques Privat.
Who are we ?
After more than 50 years of telling the story of motor racing, as a photographer, journalist, editor-in-chief and finally publisher, Yves Gallet ended his activities in the specialized press when he retired in 2018.
It is, however, a very active retreat, busy digitizing its important photographic archives. The distribution of those led him to create Neo Polychrono, a compagny which also publishes books on the history of motorsport.
While collaborating on various publications, in France and abroad, he also takes care of the promotion of events like « Rally de Portugal Historico ».
The website Neopolychrono.fr also distributes the photographic archives from other photographers, like Jacques Privat.
